Project Summary

Biggest sewage pumping facilities in the Middle East with current capacities of 680 000 m3 per day, the PS70 and PM Project was awarded in 2009 by Ashghal to a Joint Venture comprising in addition to QDVC, Vinci Construction Grands Projets, and Entrepose projects, both subsidiaries of VINCI Group.

Project Description

It is for QDVC a first and successful experience of joint-venture project as well as hydraulic job in Qatar.

This turn-key contract consisted in the design, construction, commissioning and start-up of a screen chamber, a lifting pumping station, an export pumping station along with power and control systems. In addition, 45 km of 1600 mm diameter ductile iron pipes were laid as part of the Project.

On September 7, 2014, the Public Works Authority of the State of Qatar has officially taken over the PS70 facilities located in Northern Doha.
